CoachingHer Kick-off Meeting in Berlin: Launching a Strong EU Project
With the CoachingHer Kick-off Meeting in Berlin, the official starting point was set for a European project that aims to help women—especially mothers—better combine family life and professional development. Together with the partners BK CON, Plan B non-profit company for vocational education, and APS Intrecci, the project launch in Berlin was used to discuss strategies, content, and shared goals.
From the very first in-person meeting, it became clear how much potential this cooperation holds. The kick-off meeting created space to exchange ideas, define common priorities, and lay the foundation for the next phases of the project.
A shared beginning with a clear vision
CoachingHer aims to create conditions in which women can pursue their ambitions without having to choose between career and family. For this reason, the project is built around training, individual coaching, and a sustainable support network.
The meeting in Berlin was therefore much more than a formal project launch. It marked the beginning of a shared European journey focused on one central question: How can women be supported in a practical way so that personal and professional development becomes more achievable?
What CoachingHer is about
CoachingHer is aimed especially at mothers in Germany and Italy, regardless of whether they are currently employed or not. The project seeks to help women recognise their strengths, build self-confidence, and pursue concrete personal and professional goals.
To achieve this, CoachingHer combines several elements:
a 20-hour training programme in Germany and Italy
group and individual coaching sessions for goal-setting, motivation, and decision-making
a community and European network for exchange, peer learning, and long-term support
This holistic approach is what makes the project particularly valuable. It is not only about short-term input, but about long-term empowerment in everyday life and in professional contexts.
Why the kick-off meeting in Berlin mattered
At the start of an international project, personal exchange is especially important. The CoachingHer Kick-off Meeting in Berlin brought together perspectives from Germany and Italy and helped shape a common strategy.

It was inspiring to discuss approaches, share experiences, and define the first concrete ways in which this project can support women effectively. The meeting showed that CoachingHer is built on cooperation, practical relevance, and sustainable impact.
Empowering women and opening up opportunities
A key focus of CoachingHer is strengthening self-confidence and leadership skills. Many women already have strong organisational, social, and strategic abilities, often without fully recognising them as strengths.
CoachingHer aims to make these strengths visible and help develop them further. Women and mothers are encouraged to better understand their competencies, trust themselves more, and take new steps toward their personal and professional future.
Looking ahead
The kick-off meeting in Berlin was the first step in a shared European adventure. In the coming months, CoachingHer will continue to take shape through training activities, coaching sessions, and networking opportunities.
We are excited to move this project forward together and to support women in Germany and Italy in a sustainable way. The CoachingHer Kick-off Meeting in Berlin was a motivating and promising beginning.
