CoachingHer for Mothers in Europe: Coaching, Skills and a Strong Network
On 19 March 2025, we met online to continue working on our heartfelt project, CoachingHer. Even in a digital setting, it was immediately clear what this project is all about: supporting women, and especially mothers, in balancing family life and professional development while moving forward with greater confidence, clarity, and perspective.
CoachingHer represents a shared European initiative with a clear goal: to empower mothers through coaching, new skills, and a strong network across Europe. In everyday life, where family responsibilities, personal development, and professional demands often overlap, women need support that does not create additional pressure, but instead provides guidance, motivation, and practical help.
Why CoachingHer matters
Many women and mothers still face major challenges when trying to combine professional development with family life. Suitable support structures are often missing, opportunities for personal growth are limited, and long-term networks are not always available.
This is exactly where CoachingHer comes in. The project aims to strengthen women, make barriers visible, and open up new opportunities. It is not only about sharing knowledge, but about supporting women in a holistic way throughout their personal and professional development.
Coaching, new skills, and European networking
At the heart of CoachingHer is the question of how women can be supported sustainably in both everyday life and work. To do this, the project brings together several key elements:
coaching, to clarify personal goals and develop new perspectives
new skills, to strengthen women both professionally and in daily life
a strong network across Europe, enabling exchange, solidarity, and mutual support
This combination is what makes CoachingHer especially valuable. Women benefit not only from practical input, but also from encouragement, community, and the experience of not facing their challenges alone.
Empowering mothers and strengthening self-confidence
A special focus of CoachingHer lies in strengthening self-confidence and leadership skills. Many women already have remarkable organisational, social, and strategic abilities, often without recognising them as strengths.
CoachingHer aims to make these abilities more visible and help women build on them. Women and mothers are encouraged to recognise their competencies more clearly, trust themselves more, and take new steps toward their personal and professional future.
Exchange beyond borders
Another aspect that makes CoachingHer special is its European dimension. The exchange does not stop at national borders. Instead, the project brings together experiences, ideas, and possible solutions from different countries.
This cross-border solidarity creates fresh momentum and shows that many of the challenges women face in Europe are similar. At the same time, it opens the door to shared responses, new contacts, and a network that can continue far beyond individual project meetings.
Working together to overcome barriers
The core of CoachingHer is not only support, but also change. There are still too many structural and everyday barriers for women. CoachingHer aims to help make these barriers visible and respond to them through concrete empowerment.
The online meeting on 19 March 2025 once again showed how much dedication, conviction, and heart this project contains. Together, we are working to create better opportunities, greater self-confidence, and lasting networks for women and mothers across Europe.
Looking ahead
CoachingHer continues to grow step by step—with new ideas, shared project work, and a clear vision. Our goal remains the same: to strengthen women and mothers sustainably through coaching, skills, and European networking.
The online meeting was another important step on this journey, and we are looking forward to continuing it together.
